Bookshelf critique

I found this bookshelf when looking for architectural inspiration for my Hoefler poster, and while I thought it would be too distracting (a tenative decision) I was facinated my the fact that the spiral was sligtly uneven, and the muted green color harkens back to trends from the past. I thought that was an interesting contrast between the contemporary and the "retro". That's what *I* thought was interesting. What do YOU think?

URL Shortener

Howlermonkey1's post just reminded me of a fun little tool. If you have a URL for a website that's too long, you might find this little tool useful. Just enter the URL that you want to shorten into the text field and click "Make TinyURL". It will then pop out a new short URL that redirects to the longer URL you gave it that you can copy and paste instead of giving people the huge URL.
