URL Shortener

Howlermonkey1's post just reminded me of a fun little tool. If you have a URL for a website that's too long, you might find this little tool useful. Just enter the URL that you want to shorten into the text field and click "Make TinyURL". It will then pop out a new short URL that redirects to the longer URL you gave it that you can copy and paste instead of giving people the huge URL.

I found a new image site. It is called Jupiterimages.com. I don't like it as much as istock and dreamstime, but to each their own.

Cards hard to forget

These cards seemed pretty good to me. There is a bit of variety here, but I would've done a flaming one or something.

Circles in sculpture

I think you'll agree that the subtle use of circle, line, and other geometric shapes in this is astounding. I especially like how the are able to maintain a lifelike humanness and sophisticated style.

Cool Alphabet Sculpture

I thought this sculpture seemed relevant. It's located somewhere in California.

Pretty Funny.

I know this doesn't relate to graphic design, but they are just too funny.

How to fail a test with dignity.

See how much you really know!

I was sent this link by a friend of mine and was sure that I would do fine. I was wrong. It is sort of scary how much energy we use and how much we could save (money too!!) just by making simple changes.
